🌟 Crisis Support Worker for Children & Young People

Are you ready to change a young person’s life for the better? At Paragon Social Care, that’s exactly what you’ll do! We’re on the lookout for passionate, caring, and resilient individuals to join our incredible team of Children’s Support Workers.

As a Children’s Support Workers, you’ll play a crucial role in providing safe, nurturing, and therapeutic care during some of the most critical moments in a young person’s life. Our support packages are designed to meet individual needs offering wraparound, 24/7 support with staffing ratios ranging from 2:1 up to 6:1, depending on each young person’s circumstances.

This is a rewarding and flexible role, ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a real difference.

💛 What You’ll Do
  • Create a safe, stable, and supportive environment for children and young people in crisis.
  • Children’s Support Workers Support with daily routines from meal preparation to maintaining a tidy home.
  • Encourage engagement in education, hobbies, and community activities that promote growth and confidence.
  • Supporting medical appointments and community activities.
  • Using your own vehicle to transport young people when needed.
  • Helping them move forward with confidence into their next chapter.

You’ll need:

  • A flexible approach (waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required)
  • A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and business insurance.
  • An enhanced DBS (or Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS) and full Right to Work in the UK.
  • Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)

A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
