Job description
Overview

37.5 hours per week. 24-hour service available in Doncaster as part of unplanned mental health services. We are offering a rare opportunity for motivated professionals to join Doncaster Crisis Team.

Responsibilities
  • Triaged assessment and intervention of service users in crisis.
  • Conduct telephone assessments, home visits and assessments in A&E as part of crisis management.
  • Support in a new crisis service and contribute to changes in the community working age model.
  • Liaise with families to support their understanding of crisis management.
  • Work alongside partner organisations, third sector and peer support services with transparency and openness.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Permanent Band 6 qualified practitioner.
  • Dynamic, positive, enthusiastic and highly motivated to work with individuals in crisis within the community.
  • Passion and desire to work with individuals in crisis delivering a caring and safe service.
  • Commitment to a strengths- and recovery-based approach.
