Are you a Mental Health Nurse eager to make a profound impact in the lives of adults facing mental health crises in Oxfordshire? We are currently seeking a Senior Crisis Clinician on a full time basis to join a growing service! We're embarking on an ambitious expansion of our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment service in Oxfordshire. Our mission is clear: to improve and provide least restrictive mental health support to our communities and service users. We're committed to providing comprehensive, recovery-focused assessment and treatment to individuals transitioning out of inpatient services. We're on a bold mission to rewrite the rules and redefine support. Our commitment is crystal clear: to offer holistic, recovery-focused care to individuals in their transition from inpatient services. We will offer opportunities for professional development and opportunities to influence and contribute to service development. You will be provided with regular supervision, appraisal and support. The work involves shifts across 24 hours and a variety of shift patterns and working arrangements are available including long days - we welcome flexible working requests. The service is currently based in Oxford City, but will expand to cover the whole county and develop to include crisis response and inpatient gatekeeping.
Oxford Health works in partnership with 5 third sector providers as part of the Oxford Mental Health Partnership (OMHP), and the new crisis service will be working closely with partners, in particular Oxfordshire Mind and the Safe Haven services in order to ensure diversity and choice of service for people experiencing a mental health crisis. Crisis Clinicians must have the skills and aptitude to work creatively and proactively with our third sector partners.
The successful candidates will have excellent clinical assessment and risk management skills and be able to work flexibly and dynamically in challenging and changing circumstances.
