Credit Risk Analyst

Location: Coventry (Office-based, Mon-Fri, 8:30‑5:00)

I'm supporting a growing organisation that's looking for an experienced Credit Risk professional to take ownership of credit strategy and lead a small team. If you're confident analysing complex financials, setting credit terms, and influencing key decision-makers, this is a great next step.

The Role

You'll be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of counterparties, managing overall credit exposure, and providing commercially focused recommendations to senior leaders. This role requires strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and proven leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detailed financial analysis of counterparties using statements, reports, and market intelligence
  • Setting credit terms, recommending limits, and assessing transactional risk
  • Monitoring exposure, spotting early warning signs, and preparing management reports
  • Staying on top of market trends and regulatory changes
  • Building strong internal and external relationships
  • Contributing to credit policy development and process improvement
  • Monthly stakeholder meetings in Central London
What You'll Need
  • 3+ years' experience in credit risk analysis
