About Everest

Everest is a global leader in risk management, rooted in a rich, 50+ year heritage of enabling businesses to survive and thrive, and economies to function and flourish. We are underwriters of risk, growth, progress and opportunity. We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long‑term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.

This position will be based in our London office with a hybrid schedule that has the option of working two days remotely each week.

Shape your future in insurance operations

Are you ready to take your insurance career in a new direction? At Everest Global, we’re looking for someone like you, detail‑oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within the operational side of insurance. This is not a traditional underwriting assistant role. Instead, you’ll be at the heart of our Credit and Political Risk (CPR) team, supporting underwriters while driving operational excellence across both the Company and Syndicate CPR platforms.

Whether you’re coming from a broker technician background or currently supporting underwriting teams, this role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in insurance operations, data management, and credit control.

What You’ll Do

Act as a London‑based focal point for CPR operations by managing CPR’s exposure management system (APEX), acting as CPR Credit Control point person, leading CPR’s IT, systems, and data efforts as appropriate.

Collaborate with CPR teams across London and Madrid, and liaise with global systems support colleagues in the UK, EU, US, and Asia.

Work on pre‑bind systems, ensuring accurate entry of submissions, quotes, risks, endorsements, and transactions.

Summarise slip terms and conditions, calculate premiums and exposures and ensure complete accurate entry of submissions, quotes, risks, endorsements, and transactions to the Everest Underwriting System(s) so as to ensure correct management, statistical and regulatory reporting.

Monitor aggregations and support catastrophe risk management across all lines of business.

Maintain data integrity through checks, audits, and document management.

Assist with compliance, sanctions, and fraud checks pre‑ and post‑bind.

Support underwriters with reporting, marketing, and business development.

Contribute to cross‑functional operations projects and provide support to other underwriting teams when needed.

What You Bring

Insurance experience in a support role (e.g., technician, underwriting assistant, operations).

Strong IT and systems skills, with comfort in handling data and finance‑related tasks.

Excellent attention to detail and a logical, analytical mindset.

Confidence, urgency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Experience in Credit and Political Risk is a plus, but not essential - we value your operational mindset and willingness to grow.
