This role is with a reputable multi-million turnover organisation,they are hugely growing and evolving. They are looking for a temporary Credit Manager initially with a view to go perm, hybrid working overseeing a small team based in Runcorn.

Job Description

The Credit Manager duties include;

  • Overseeing a small team to help delegate, manage and coach.
  • Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
  • Review and approve credit applications in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor customer accounts and conduct regular credit risk assessments.
  • Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve payment disputes and queries.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collections performance to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team in meeting credit control objectives.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in credit management position
  • ICM/CICM (desirable not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of credit management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
