Job summary

A Lloyds Market specialty Insurer and Reinsurer have partnered with us on the search for a Credit Controller join Binders team within the Credit Control function. You will be part of a team of 4 and reporting directly into a highly experienced Credit Control Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage outstanding premium balances across binder business to support cash flow and reduce debt.
  • Liaise regularly with brokers, the DUA team, and underwriting staff to resolve premium discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconciliation of premium and risk bordereaux.
  • Conduct professional and proactive credit control activities, including calls, emails, and meetings to chase overdue balances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within insurance accounting systems, escalating complex cases where necessary.
  • Support binder‑related reconciliations and projects, collaborating with offshore teams and ensuring full compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Company / Lloyd's Market binder business.
  • Experience in Bordereaux and Binder Business is essential.
  • Experience in a similar role within Credit Control or DUA as a Bordereaux Technician or similar.
  • Good time management and able to prioritise and manage busy workload.
