Job summary

A leading beverage company in Leeds is looking for a Credit Control Supervisor to manage customer accounts and support the Credit Manager. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and experience in credit control. Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems is essential. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar Credit role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP (SAP) and 365 Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively is essential.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Credit Control SupervisorReporting to the Credit Manager this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular, effective communication with customers, internal and external to review accounts, resolve overdue items and deductions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure credit control reporting, procedures and policies accommodate organisational developments and needs.
  • Performing Account Manager inductions, and training/ coaching any new members of the team.
  • Review, assess any held orders to manage risk, ensuring the customer and sales team are notified.
  • Daily credit management of ledgers, ensuring all accounts are paid to terms agreed and debt collected.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and internal policy requirements, ensure all accounting deadlines are met and all system based (SAP) tasks are carried out efficiently.
  • Provide a reference point within the team for customers (internal & external) and provide direction to colleagues in respect of all credit related issues.
  • Support the Credit Manager with monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Review and maintain accurate master data records, actioning with speed and ensuring compliance with GDPR rules.
  • Effectively deal with customer queries and claims, ensuring quality diary notes and updates.
  • Anticipate potential problems, minimising risk and exposure to the business.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar Credit role preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERP(SAP), 365 Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting, report writing/summaries.
  • Excellent organisational skills & can prioritise without prompt.
  • Attention to detail & an aptitude for problem solving, using their own initiative.
