About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Creche Manager for our client to lead a well-established on-site creche in Exeter. This role is ideal for someone confident in supervising staff, ensuring safe childcare practice, and delivering an exceptional experience for families.

You will oversee daily operations, safety compliance, rota planning, staff mentoring, and communication with internal stakeholders. A strong understanding of early years environments and safeguarding procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the creche, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment.
  • Supervise, support, and develop a small team of childcare practitioners.
  • Manage rotas, staffing levels, registers, and daily operations.
  • Maintain full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and early years standards.
  • Liaise with relevant managers and partners when required.
  • Ensure excellent customer care and a positive experience for children and parents.
