Creative Manager — Location: Manchester

Salary: £35k to £40K DOE

Full time: Permanent

Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office

We are seeking a talented Creative Manager to be the driving force behind the visual and tonal identity of our client’s retail company. In this role, you will act as their brand guardian, shaping the creative direction to express their purpose and accelerate growth. You will lead the development of outstanding design concepts across the entire creative landscape, including packaging, digital, print, and video.

The Role
  • Own and evolve the brand’s visual identity, translating brand strategy into distinctive and consistent creative across all channels.
  • Develop insight-led creative concepts and campaigns that deliver on commercial objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring all creative output is on-brand, impactful, and of the highest quality.
  • Lead the end-to-end design of creative projects, from initial concept to final delivery across packaging, print, digital, video, and events.
  • Create high-impact sales and marketing materials, including customer presentations, pitch decks, and trade show experiences.
  • Drive packaging design and innovation by collaborating closely with product development and marketing teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an in-house Design Artworker, fostering a culture of creative excellence.
  • Manage a network of external partners, including creative agencies, photographers, and printers, ensuring projects are delivered on brief, on time, and on budget.
  • Collaborate effectively with marketing, sales, ecommerce, and product teams to deliver cohesive and commercially successful campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in design, packaging, and digital media to ensure the brand remains fresh, innovative, and competitive.
  • Proactively improve creative workflows, tools, and processes to boost efficiency and embed sustainable practices.
