We bring the performance of our products to life and drive brand awareness, demand and love throughout EMEA and global franchise markets.

About this role

The Creative Director for EMEA and Global Franchise defines and communicates an overarching creative vision for lululemon in region, in line with the global strategy and identity. They shape the brand expression and creative standards and ensure that all creative output is aligned with business objectives and delivered in excellence. They direct and mentor regional creative specialists (including art direction, design, copy, creative operations and production) to deliver visually stunning assets across all touchpoints including digital, in store, and experiential channels.

A day in the life

Regional creative vision

  • Collaborate with global Creative team leadership and regional Brand Strategy to set and uphold a creative vision for EMEA that is aligned with the global brand and identity and drives the regional business integrated marketing campaign development.
  • Direct in-house, agency, and franchise partner teams to concept and execute outstanding creative campaigns that elevate output and resonate with both new and existing guests whilst answering business needs.
  • Ensure all campaigns are consistently and uniquely lululemon – differentiating the brand in a crowded competitor space.

Operational excellence

  • Accountable for upholding high creative standards across all regional channels and tracking creative performance to influence future strategies.
  • Accountable for best-in-class regional processes and resource strategies that deliver elevated creative assets on time, on budget, and on strategy.
  • Responsible for influencing and collaborating with cross-functional and regional executive colleagues.

Team leadership

  • Lead, inspire and coach the regional creative team and partners (including franchise, marketplace, brand, and agency partners) amidst a positive working culture that enables people to thrive and deliver great work.

Qualifications

  • BA or BFA preferred with a focus in Design, Fine Arts, or Writing
  • 5+ years of experience at Creative Director level in a creative agency or in-house creative team
  • 10+ years of experience managing highly skilled and multidisciplinary creative teams
  • Significant experience creating and art directing successful integrated marketing campaigns for a premium brand
  • Highly collaborative and cross-functional leader
