Job summary

A specialist education provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support students with complex learning needs. Cover Supervisor

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Start Date: Monday 1st December 2025

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £600 - £750 per week (dependent on performance, experience and responsibilities)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the School

We're working with some brilliant specialist schools supporting students aged 5-19 with a range of complex learning needs, autism, and physical or sensory impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Bring learning to life by delivering pre-set work in a creative and engaging way—helping every student feel supported, included, and inspired.
  • Work closely with SEN teachers and support staff.
  • Play a key part in creating a calm, positive classroom environment where learners can thrive. Whether it's sparking curiosity, encouraging progress, or simply bringing a smile to someone's day, your presence will make a real impact.
Qualifications
  • A background in the arts, performance, or education would be highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience supporting in schools.
  • A background in education or a related field would be beneficial.
  • A creative, empathetic, and adaptable approach to engaging students with varying.
  • An interest in SEN, mental health, or inclusive education (experience is a bonus, not a must).
Eligibility
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
  • Two professional references from child related roles.
