We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining classroom experience, supporting teaching and learning, and helping students succeed. Beginning ASAP.

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Provide support for students’ learning and wellbeing.

  • Assist with general school duties when not covering lessons.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

  • Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable).

  • Strong communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor.

  • Confidence in managing groups of students.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative.

  • A positive, professional, and reliable approach.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

  • Needs to have graduated in the last 5 years.
