Job summary

A leading education staffing agency is seeking Cover Supervisors in Caerphilly. The role involves delivering pre-set lessons and managing classroom behavior. Ideal candidates have experience with children and excellent communication skills. This position offers flexible, term-time contracts with a daily rate starting from £100.

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
  • EWC registration (or willingness to register).
  • A calm, organised approach and excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering pre-set work in the absence of a teacher.
  • Maintaining a focused, respectful classroom environment.
  • Supporting pupils with questions and encouraging discussion.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring safety.
  • Collecting completed work and reporting on the session.
  • Being a positive role model students look up to.
