We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, confident, and reliable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in a range of local secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain first-hand school experience before pursuing a PGCE or similar teaching qualification.

Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification but all applications will be considered.

A fully enhanced DBS will be required.

The Role Includes:

  • Leading the classroom in the teacher's absence
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons
  • Maintaining classroom engagement and behaviour
  • Managing handover and reporting back to the regular teacher
  • No marking or planning required

Ideal for Candidates with Experience in:

  • Sports coaching
  • Youth work
  • Drama, Art, or Music workshops
  • Summer camps or holiday clubs
  • Scouts/Guides/Cubs/Brownies
  • Outdoor activity instruction / Duke of Edinburgh Award
  • Any experience working with young people (minimum 2 months)
