Job summary

A leading construction consultancy in Greater London is seeking a Graduate Assistant Surveyor to join their Infrastructure team. The role involves managing costs within construction projects, with responsibilities such as preparing cost plans, compiling contract documents, and maintaining client communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the construction sector, excellent communication skills, and a minimum 2.1 degree. This position offers a pathway to Chartered membership through the firm's Graduate programme.

Qualifications

• Aiming for Chartered membership of RICS or APM.
• Proactive and flexible approach to different situations.
• Dedication and commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Measure drawings from the Design team and produce a cost plan for the client.
• Compile contract documents and write preliminaries.
• Attend site meetings and communicate with relevant parties.

Skills

Understand the importance of client care & building relationships

Ability to prioritise work efficiently

Ability to work to deadlines

Genuine interest in construction and property
