Sheridan Maine is working with a leading accountancy practice to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager or Assistant Manager for its London office. This is an exciting opportunity for a CTA-qualified professional, or someone close to completing CTA, ready to take on increased responsibility within a growing Corporate Tax team.

In this role, you’ll lead on reviewing tax computations, work on advisory projects, and mentor junior team members, while also gaining direct client exposure and helping shape tax strategies.

Your key responsibilities
  • Review and sign off corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and contribute to complex corporate tax advisory projects, delivering practical, high-quality solutions.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing trusted advice and guidance.
  • Identify opportunities for tax planning and risk mitigation across client portfolios.
To be considered for the role
  • CTA-qualification, or near completion of CTA.
  • Solid experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory work within practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Leadership potential, with experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues.
