A leading healthcare provider in England is seeking a motivated Corporate Planning Manager to enhance their planning and business development team. This role will involve significant responsibilities in business planning for multiple units while supporting the Director of Healthcare Planning. Thiscorporate planning manager post will have split responsibilities, part of thepost will be responsible for delivering healthcare planning for specific CSUswhilst the other part of the post will support the Director of HealthcarePlanning in developing and implementing the Trusts multi year plan.
Thisrole offers excellent opportunities to build upon skills in servicetransformation and redesign across a range of services whilst taking theplanning lead on all major reconfigurations currently underway within theorganisation.
AsCorporate Planning Manager, you will work at senior management levelalongside Clinical Directors and Assistant Directors of Operations and tomake a visible contribution to the business success of CSUs across the Trust.
Youwill need a strong focus on improving patient care through the developmentand delivery of local business plans and long term complex strategicprojects.
Provide the professional lead onbusiness planning in each CSU and to ensure that business cases fordevelopment/service change are of the highest standard, in the correct formatand seek approvals as relevant to the case requirements.
Take a co-ordinating role within eachCSU in order to bring together the work of the corporate functionsfinance/HR/planning so resulting in joined up thinking.
Take the lead and drive business basedevelopment, often in excess of £1 million; to sponsor all non-clinicalbuilding and engineering schemes and to tightly monitor progress to time andcost on behalf of the CSU, liaising directly with the CSU General Manager on a regular basis.
Work with each CSU to develop casesof need for complex medical and scientific equipment and for IT systems.
Support the Director of HealthcarePlanning in developing the Trusts multi-year plan, incorporating demand andcapacity modelling to ensure sustainable services and alignment with nationaland local priorities.
Coordinate governance and reportingof the plan throughout the year, providing assurance to the Board andcommittees through robust performance monitoring, progress updates, and riskmanagement.
Engage and collaborate with clinicaland corporate teams, ensuring strategic priorities are translated intoactionable programmes and that stakeholders are aligned and informed throughoutthe planning cycle.
