Hybrid working between Cadent Head Office near Coventry (CV7 9JU) & Home - typically 1-2 days per week in office

Lead with Insight. Drive Energy Forward

As a Corporate Finance & Revenue Specialist you'll play a pivotal role in supporting Cadent's regulatory finance functions. You'll work closely with the Investor Relations team in Corporate Finance on financial modelling for equity investors and provide critical analysis to the Regulatory Finance Manager to set revenues and prices, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Analyse - Understand the interplay between corporate finance, regulatory finance, treasury, and tax to inform modelling and impacts on revenue.
  • Support - Assist with regulation and modelling queries, both internally and externally
  • Forecast - Develop robust quarterly revenue forecasts and clearly articulate key drivers of change in industry forums.
  • Optimise - Become an expert in the Price Control Financial Model and associated input models to drive accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate - Deliver clear internal and external messaging on price changes and future influences to ensure the business drive value.
  • Collaborate - Work with Ofgem, Gas Shippers, and independent networks to enhance charging methodologies and stakeholder engagement.
  • Champion - Lead regulatory reporting and procedures and lead on initiatives that drive regulatory outperformance and commercial value across the business.
