Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in aerospace, commercial agreements, and leading high‑performing teams? Our client, a respected and growing organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Corporate Contracts Manager to support the Commercial Director and oversee contractual activities across multiple UK sites.

This is a key leadership position, offering autonomy, strategic influence, and the opportunity to shape contract governance across a complex, internationally connected business.

About You
Essential:
  • Extensive experience in contract management within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and complex customer agreements.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate remote or multi‑site teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to travel in the UK and overseas as required.
Desirable:
  • Experience with aerospace‑grade metals, stockholding, or sales leadership.
  • Familiarity with Estel ERP or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, or service environments.
The Role

As Corporate Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of all customer contract management across the organisation. You will lead a team of Contract Managers located across different facilities, ensuring all agreements are effectively implemented, maintained, and renewed in line with business objectives.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the Commercial Director, providing commercial expertise, driving contract consistency, and strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee negotiation, management, renewal, and governance of all customer contracts.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of Contract Managers.
  • Ensure company‑wide compliance with contractual terms, industry regulations, and export control requirements.
  • Support bids, tenders, pricing reviews, and contract amendments with a strong commercial and legal awareness.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Purchasing to ensure robust contract governance.
  • Represent the organisation in customer and supplier meetings, audits, and reviews.
  • Maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships through regular UK and international visits.
  • Provide training, support recruitment within the contracts team, and maintain training records.
