Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with residents\' dietary needs and preferences.
• Plan and develop menus that offer a variety of nutritious and appealing meal options.
• Ensure that all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed in the kitchen.
• Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a cook in a similar setting, preferably in catering or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of dietary needs and nutrition to accommodate residents\' requirements.
• Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating diverse and appetizing meals.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents and staff effectively.
• Food hygiene certification or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
