A leading law firm in Leeds is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their Real Estate team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage your own caseload and assist other fee earners with a variety of property transactions. Job description

Our client, a top UK law firm, is actively seeking an established Conveyance/Licenced Conveyancer/CILEx Lawyer to join them on a permanent basis in their Leeds office – working as a Conveyancer in their Real Estate team.

This Real Estate team is at the hear of the business – they work on a variety of property transactions with a broad range of clients.

The firm is looking for someone with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail and experience in managing their own caseload. As the successful Conveyancer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting Solicitors and other Fee-Earners in the day to day running of files
  • Drafting ancillary documents
  • Assisting with land transfers covering both pre and post completion
  • Undertaking Land Registry application and dealing with requisitions
  • Reviewing and reporting on due diligence searches

+ much more.

To be considered for this position, you’ll need to have/be the following:

  • Be an established Conveyancer/Licenced Conveyancer/CILEx Lawyer with experience in property transactions and the conveyancing process
  • Have solid drafting skills
  • Be able to commute to the Leeds office on a regular basis
  • Must be client focused and be commercially aware
