Salary: £45,000-£50,000

Controls and Automation Service Engineer - Job Description
  • Expected to work both at our premises and on client locations
  • Accountable for bringing projects into operation through electrical installation and machinery commissioning
  • Providing after-sales maintenance and attending to equipment faults
  • Tasked with fitting control panels and overseeing the on’site assembly of machinery and automated systems
  • Must be adaptable and willing to travel - When not on the road, you’ll be based onsite, assisting with pre-installation build activities.
Controls and Automation Service Engineer - Experience/skills/requirements
  • Preferably apprentice-trained and/or formally qualified as an industrial electrical fitter
  • Capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings — electrical essential, mechanical advantageous
  • Extensive experience of automation machinery
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems / PLC programming
  • Background in working with pneumatic equipment and valve systems
  • Hold a Full UK driving license
  • Fluent in English (second language is a plus)
  • Must hold a UK or EU passport, as eligibility for ESTA entry into the United States is required
Controls and Automation Service Engineer - Benefits
  • Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 08.00 to 17.00, Friday 08.00 to 14.00 (with the understanding that occasional travel may require extended days)
  • Plus pay for site work on Saturdays as standard
