Job summary

A leading company is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to work on innovative projects in the Oil, Gas, Renewables, or Energy sectors in Scotland. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience, particularly in electrical and software design, and will be responsible for developing new control system tools and managing related processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Control Systems Engineering.
• Experience with electrical, electronic, and software design.
• HNC minimum; HND advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for new tools.
• Production of software code for PLCs.
• Manage supply chain for Control Unit BOMs.

Control Systems Engineer

£45 per hour

Scotland

Outside IR35

Are you a Control Systems Engineer that has worked with in industries such as Oil and Gas, Renewables or Energy Industries? If so please take a look at the below opportunity:

Essential Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience working as a Control Systems Engineer
• Experience of electrical, electronic and software design of the controls in the development of new tools
• Production of software code for a PLC or similar logic controllers
• Understanding of industrial automation protocols
• Experience with the purchase of parts from Control Unit BOMs ensuring timely supply for equipment build
• HNC minimum HND would be advantageous
