The Role

As Contracts Manager, you’ll report directly to the Construction Director and oversee 1–4 concurrent projects (typically valued between £100K–£5M) across Greater London.

You’ll split your time between our Battersea office and active sites, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day contract delivery across multiple live heritage / restoration projects
  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver works on time and within budget
  • Ensure strict compliance with contract terms, health & safety regulations, and conservation standards
  • Liaise regularly with clients, consultants, and the internal team to ensure seamless communication
  • Monitor project performance, cost control, programme adherence, and quality assurance
  • Support the Construction Director in strategic planning and resource allocation
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager in the heritage or restoration sector
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of traditional construction techniques and conservation best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple sites with varying complexity and scale
  • A proactive, team-focused approach and attention to detail
  • SMSTS and relevant health & safety certifications preferred
