Full Time, Permanent
Homebased in Central England with semi frequent travel to sites across Central
37.5 hours per week (8:00-16:30)
£27,000-£30,000 per year
As a Contract Quality Representative (CQR), you will play a central role in supporting the delivery of a robust Quality Plan and Assurance Programme across the Built Estate contract. You'll work closely with the Contract Quality Manager and the wider team to ensure that inspections, reporting and performance monitoring are delivered to a consistently high standard.
This role is home-based with a preference for candidates located in Central England. You will be required to travel a couple of times a month to support audits, site inspections or security-related activity. You will also collaborate with colleagues across Central and Southwest England, including the Contract Quality Manager and the CQR team, and will frequently interact with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
As the only CQR within the team, you'll enjoy a high level of ownership and responsibility, with ongoing support for your professional development.
You will take responsibility for preparing, reviewing and issuing monthly inspection data and assurance documentation. You will produce well-structured, accurate reports and presentations, primarily in PowerPoint, which you will present to senior VIVO management and Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) stakeholders.
You will review completed inspections to ensure accuracy, identify trends and provide feedback to operational teams. You will support the ongoing development of the Contract Quality Plan, contribute to the annual Assurance Programme, and ensure records and data are consistently maintained across OneDrive, CAFM and other systems.
Meetings will form a key part of your role, involving regular collaboration with teams across multiple regions. You will support VIVO and DIO assurance meetings, provide guidance to staff, deliver training via MS Teams, and act as a confident voice for quality and compliance across the contract.
You will need strong report‑writing abilities and confidence in presenting your findings to senior stakeholders. A good understanding of Microsoft Office is essential, particularly in Excel, including V‑lookups, pivot tables and data interpretation. You should also be proficient in developing visually clear presentations using PowerPoint.
Willingness to learn and develop is key. Experience as a CQR or in a quality or assurance environment is highly desirable but not essential if you bring the right attitude and analytical capability. Experience working with DIO or within the Defence sector is advantageous.
Above all, you must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, able to build strong relationships at all levels, and confident in representing quality matters across the business.
You must be able to obtain BPSS clearance as a minimum, with the ability and willingness to achieve SC Clearance as required.
You will play an essential part in upholding quality standards that support critical Defence infrastructure. You will work closely with a supportive team, develop professionally in a highly respected environment, and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across both VIVO and the DIO.
This role offers autonomy, meaningful responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute directly to the improvement of operational standards across a high‑profile national contract.
The role you have applied for is with VIVO Defence Services, a joint venture between Serco and EQUANS. By applying for this role, please be aware that information contained within your CV may be shared between VIVO Defence Services, Serco and EQUANS during the recruitment process.
