Acero Construction is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable client following the successful award of works across the National Highways framework. The business delivers projects within the energy, water and rail sectors and is now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team.

The Role

You will be responsible for the setup and day-to-day management of ground investigation and geotechnical projects, working closely with clients and internal commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage ground investigation and geotechnical projects
  • Attend and lead client meetings
  • Prepare and review project documentation including RAMS and project briefings
  • Create, update, and manage project programmes
  • Manage project changes and client notices alongside the commercial team and quantity surveyors
  • Prepare basic applications and invoices
About You
  • Proven experience in contracts or project management, ideally within ground investigation or geotechnical works
  • Experience working within highways, energy, water, or rail sectors
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel regularly to office locations
