Responsibilities

• Manage the professional execution of all contracts from receipt of the order.
• Plan the contracts and agree on the method of construction.
• Recruit and manage sub-contract labour, supervisors, and junior staff.
• Develop good working relations with the Purchasing Manager/Buyer.
• Ensure contracts are executed on time, to specification, and within cost targets.
• Negotiate rates with sub-contractors and suppliers to maximize profitability.

City Site Solutions - Scotland are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager with a background in roofing, this role will be based in our clients office in Kingston Upon Thames.

Responsibilities

• To be involved fully in the process of managing the professional execution of all contracts from receipt of the order.
• Planning the contracts.
• Agreeing the method of construction.
• Recruiting, briefing and managing the sub-contract labour, supervisors and junior staff.
• Develop good working relations with the Purchasing Manager / Buyer.
• Ensure all contracts are executed on time, to specification and within cost targets.
• This will include negotiating rates with sub-contractors & suppliers and ensuring these rates are within budget, taking every opportunity to maximise profitability.
