Terms of Engagement for Independent Contractor
Duration: 12 months, approx. 12-20 hours per week.
Compensation: flat fee paid monthly that reflects regional considerations.
Location: Remote in Australia, Canada (PST), India, Malaysia, New Zealand, UK, U.S. (PST).

We currently seek a contract editor for our English-language communications, primarily those of our operations in Malaysia and India. In this role, you will be part of our editing team, helping ensure the polish, credibility, voice, and "oomf" of public-facing Mercy For Animals communications across multiple platforms and formats.

As a contract editor, you are expected to commit 12–20 hours per week for one year. Compensation will be a flat fee paid monthly that reflects regional considerations. We will discuss with you and agree on a rate before you begin any work for us, and our agreement will be clearly established in the contract.
