PROPOSED SALARY RANGE : 48000 - 58000 London Weighting (5441) depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

BBC Studios is undergoing a significant transformation across its Global Licensing operations implementing a new integrated platform powered by My Media Box (MMB). This initiative replaces legacy systems and manual processes with streamlined automated solutions enhancing efficiency from deal negotiation through to royalty payments.

As Contract Compliance Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring contract integrity and operational excellence in this newly unified landscape. Initially focused on contract data migration and error resolution your work will be critical to the success of the new licensing infrastructure both in the lead-up to and following Go Live.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
Contract Data Management
  • Ensure accurate entry of licensing contracts into MMB including new agreements, amendments, advances and minimum guarantees.
  • Monitor contract records and update contract records to track renewal dates and ensure timely action.
  • Monitor contract status reports and renewal alerts using MMB tools.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Review contract data at creation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Support triage processes and ensure accurate system data for late or retrospective amendments.
  • Devise and implement robust check processes to minimise data entry errors (e.g. threshold-based validations).
System Implementation & Continuous Improvement
  • Update and manage MMB product rights trees in liaison with the Product team.
  • Collaborate with Legal Licensing Sales and Finance to align contract terms.
  • Coordinate off-system processes where MMB does not support native functionality (e.g. discount rates).
  • Support rollout of new system software and upgrades.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Talent, Accounting) and external partners (Licensees, Agents) to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
  • Disseminate signed contract information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as a conduit between contracting, finance, licensing and product teams during system migration.
Migration Support
  • Ensure contract data is up-to-date and ready for migration.
  • Support the transition of legacy agreements into the new system.
  • Collaborate with UK & EMEA Licensing teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
