Job summary

A construction service provider is seeking a highly skilled Building Services Engineer to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of facilities across Portsmouth and Stevenage. This role involves conducting site inspections, maintaining records, and acting as a liaison among stakeholders. Candidates must have a background in building services and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. This is a 12-month contract position that requires full SC Clearance with competitive compensation rates available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Building Services and buildings Clerk of Works, Site Inspector, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of building services systems.
• Experience in construction site management and quality control.
• Sound knowledge of relevant Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections of all building services.
• Identify and document defects or deviations.
• Maintain detailed site records and reports.
• Verify quality of materials and installation standards.
• Act as a liaison between various stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate handover documentation.
