Job summary

A leading digital solutions company is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to drive the migration of an AI start-up's core platform from Azure to AWS. This hands-on role involves designing AWS infrastructure and establishing modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in platform migrations, strong AWS knowledge, and familiarity with Terraform and Bitbucket. This contract opportunity offers remote work in the UK and a daily rate of £600 inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in migrating platforms from Azure to AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end migration of the client's web application, API, and database from Azure to AWS.
• Design and build AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Implement automation in testing and validation of application code.

This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role where you'll design the future foundation of their platform, establish modern CI / CD practices, and lead a business‑critical cloud migration.
