Our client is seeking Contract Accountants to join their Business Services andOutsourcing team to support a client project. This opportunity is available on a permanent or contract basis and is suitable for qualified or part-qualified accountants with a range of experience levels. The role involves delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services, with responsibilities tailored according to experience.

Job Duties:

• Provide accounting and financial reporting services in line with UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards
• Deliver client-focused services during on-site or remote secondments
• Prepare and review financial reports and documentation
• Use accounting software to support accurate record-keeping and reporting
• Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all client interactions
• Stay updated with changes in financial reporting requirements and apply them accordingly
• Understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions to meet business needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team

Job Requirements:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Proven experience working with accounting software and Excel
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive attitude
• Degree level education or equivalent experience preferred
