Overview
As a River Restoration - Project Manager you will be working with a variety of stakeholders and our supply chain partners to design and build environmental construction projects on our chalk streams. This work is part of Affinity Water's commitments under the Water Industry National Environment Program (WINEP).
Responsibilities
- Work with our supply chain to create project designs that meet stakeholder needs and ensure that designs comply with the necessary environmental permits.
- Write and manage contracts, whilst overseeing our supply chain partners to deliver designs and construction of projects, ensuring all applicable safety, construction and environmental regulations are met.
- Act as a primary point of contact with framework suppliers and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure relevant project management information is provided and is readily accessible.
- Maintain a focus on delivering projects to agreed timescales with high levels of cost efficiency and quality.
- May be required to deliver projects across all three Affinity Water regions including regular travel to remote sites. Occasional evening or weekend attendance at stakeholder events may be required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Experience with Asite software is desirable; 5+ years of project management experience; Experience of working with NEC family of contracts (writing and reviewing); Experience of working with supply chain partners and managing wider stakeholders (e.g. landowners, Local Authorities, the Environment Agency).

- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (salary dependent on skills and experience)
- Hours: 08:30–17:00 (Mon–Thu); 08:30–16:30 (Friday)
