Job description

Are you ready to take the lead in a top-ranked Private Wealth Disputes team while still benefiting from the support of a national network of offices? This role gives you the best of both worlds: the chance to build your profile in Cardiff, while tapping into the resources, career pathways, and expertise of a leading UK firm.

Why this role?

  • Lead on complex, high-value cases involving wills, trusts, estates, and Court of Protection disputes.
  • Shape the team's future by mentoring juniors and contributing to the department's growth strategy.
  • Access a national platform - collaborate with specialists across the UK, opening doors to career progression that smaller, standalone teams can't match.
  • Build lasting client relationships with individuals, charities, executors, and financial institutions.

What we're looking for

You'll already have strong experience in contentious trusts and probate, ideally with ACTAPS or STEP (or the drive to secure them). You'll be confident running cases independently, enjoy supporting junior colleagues, and have the client skills to grow your own reputation as well as the firm's.

Why join this firm?

This is a firm with real ambition. You'll be part of a culture that combines collegiate support with the drive of a national practice. Expect opportunities to develop, recognition for your contribution, and a career pathway that goes beyond Cardiff.

Benefits include:

  • Minimum 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Hybrid working
  • Death in service benefit (twice annual salary)
  • Payment of relevant professional fees
