A fast-growing maritime technology company in the UK is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and implement systems for their advanced maritime platforms. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of DC power systems, experience with fault-finding, and proficiency with tools for electrical systems. This role offers a permanent position in Portsmouth with additional benefits like 25 days of annual leave and comprehensive healthcare coverage.
Salary: £40,000‑£45,000 DOE (Permanent)
Subsea Craft is a fast‑growing, privately funded UK‑based SME delivering advanced maritime technology. Our flagship platform, VICTA, is an optionally crewed dual‑domain platform capable of rapid transition beneath the surface for discreet delivery of effects within contested waters.
As an Electrical Engineer you will develop and implement the systems that power and control our maritime platforms, supporting teams of craft technicians. Your work will be critical to ensuring the quality and performance of our products.
The role is based in Portsmouth, with travel to Portland for trials. The candidate may work in manufacturing environment, at sea during trials, and must meet security requirements: existing right to live and work in UK, BPSS, and possibly further security checks.
