Overview

Join Us in Transforming CAMHS Liaison Services Across BSW (Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire). We’ve secured 12 months of fixed-term funding to expand the CAMHS Liaison Service across BaNES, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW). This includes increasing provision at the three District General Hospitals: Royal United Hospital (Bath), Great Western Hospital (Swindon), and Salisbury District Hospital. We’re building a new clinical leadership team—featuring a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Consultant Mental Health Practitioner—to oversee expanded multidisciplinary teams (Bands 7, 6, and 4) at each hospital. Staffing will grow from 2–3 to 6 per site during this pilot phase.

Role and Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone with solid CAMHS experience, advanced skills in mental health assessment, and a passion for delivering high-quality consultation, training, and clinical supervision to multi-agency colleagues. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist to review current practices and drive service development—building on what’s working and identifying opportunities for improvement. You’ll play a key part in shaping a stronger, more responsive service for young people across the region.
