A leading health service provider in Oxford is looking for an experienced CAMHS professional to enhance its services across BSW. The role involves collaborating with a Consultant Psychiatrist to improve service practices and deliver high-quality training. Candidates must have solid CAMHS experience and strong mental health assessment skills. This position offers plenty of opportunities for career progression and benefits, including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Join Us in Transforming CAMHS Liaison Services Across BSW (Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire). We’ve secured 12 months of fixed-term funding to expand the CAMHS Liaison Service across BaNES, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW). This includes increasing provision at the three District General Hospitals: Royal United Hospital (Bath), Great Western Hospital (Swindon), and Salisbury District Hospital. We’re building a new clinical leadership team—featuring a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Consultant Mental Health Practitioner—to oversee expanded multidisciplinary teams (Bands 7, 6, and 4) at each hospital. Staffing will grow from 2–3 to 6 per site during this pilot phase.
We’re looking for an experienced CAMHS professional with the vision and clinical expertise to help shape a sustainable, high-quality model of care—and support our bid for long-term funding. Be part of something impactful. Help shape the future of CAMHS in BSW.
