We welcome applications from candidates with a training major in Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy. You will join a dynamic, supportive team committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will deliver face-to-face CBT assessments and treatment, supporting team clinicians with complex cases. They may contribute to weekly referral meetings at St Ann's House and monthly CBT meetings, including complex case discussions, business updates, and peer CPD. A monthly business meeting at Nottingham Psychotherapy Unit also includes all psychotherapy teams.

They will run a medication clinic, offering consultation and prescribing for CBT patients referred from primary care. The role includes collaboration with Consultant Psychiatrists and LMHT clinicians to enhance clinical consultation and reflective practice across care pathways.

Opportunities exist to develop care pathways for specific diagnoses where CBT is NICE-recommended, depending on the post holder's interests. They will also supervise Higher and Core trainees in CBT and help expand supervision capacity.

Regular external supervision for psychotherapy work is required and financially supported, currently provided online for Medical Psychotherapists.
