NCIC is working in partnership with The Pears Cumbria School of Medicine, offering opportunities to support rural and remote medicine and to help grow our own medical workforce within Cumbria.
The post will be based at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, but post holders may be required to work at other sites within the Trust. On‑calls within General Medicine would also be available if desired.
Relocation assistance of up to £8,000 may be available for successful applicants moving to the region.
Please note: You must be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of your CCT in order to be eligible for appointment to this level of post.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exemptions Order) 1975 and requires a submission for Disclosure to the DBS to check for any previous criminal convictions. The cost of the DBS is met by the successful candidate through salary deduction.
