A healthcare provider seeks a Consultant Colorectal surgeon to deliver general and colorectal surgical services in Staffordshire. The post involves active participation in teaching, supervising trainee medical staff, and leading audit activities. Ideal candidates will have experience in laparoscopic colorectal surgery and hold a FRCS. An interest in pelvic floor disorders is preferred. An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Colorectal surgeon to join the team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Trust. The post holder would join the team on the Queen's Hospital Site in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. You will join a team of 5 other Lower GI surgeons. An interest and experience of pelvic floor disorders would be an advantage.
You will provide general and colorectal surgical services for Staffordshire and the surrounding areas and play a key role in developing services. Queens Hospital, Burton are also in the process of developing robotic surgery which is currently delivered on the Royal Derby site.
