A leading healthcare provider is seeking a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join a well-established Community Mental Health Team in Barrow, Cumbria. The role offers highly negotiable rates and an immediate start. The Consultant will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing care and support to patients while developing community psychiatry skills. Prior experience, a full GMC license, and the right to work in the UK are required, along with Section 12/RC approval.
CPL UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a General Adult Consultant, NHS based in Barrow, Cumbria area.
The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of community psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment. The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues.
The post holder will work as Consultant Psychiatrist in the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). He / she will work with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, social work, occupational therapy and psychology staff. The team works with a limited number of GP practices and there is an expectation that there will be close liaison with those practices. The Consultant will be available to give advice to primary care and the multidisciplinary team. The consultant will have a small caseload of patients that he / she will see in outpatients but the majority of patients will have a separate key worker.
