Ecologist

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 DOE

Location: Multiple UK Offices (Hybrid Working Available)

About the Role

You’ll be joining a highly experienced team delivering ecological surveys, assessments, and technical reporting for major public and private sector developments. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on nationally significant schemes while developing your expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a range of ecological field surveys, including protected species surveys
  • Support the preparation of technical reports (PEA, EcIA, mitigation strategies)
  • Contribute to biodiversity net gain assessments and habitat management plans
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to advise on ecological constraints and opportunities
  • Assist with project delivery from concept through to construction
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in ecological consultancy or a related field
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ecological survey methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Protected species licence(s) desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
