The catchment area is rural mid Dorset in the Blandford & Wimborne Areas. We offer a recruitment and retention payment of £10,000 to be paid in monthly instalments for the first year of employment. If you are interested in moving to our beautiful county we can provide a generous relocation package of up to £10,000. The post holder may take part in the consultant on-call rota remunerated paid at 3% plus 0.75 APA. The post also attracts 10 days per year of study leave and an annual study leave budget of up to £1000.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will take part in the multi-disciplinary management of community referrals for those with both functional and organic illness.
  • The successful candidate would also have dedicated time to help shape the strategic developments within the care group across Dorset.
  • There is a strong leadership structure across the organisation with the opportunity for regular input into leadership meetings and developments.
  • There is good opportunity for peer support and robust cross cover.
