This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent post as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist for the West of Scotland Renal Transplant Service, based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

This role is designed to fill an 8c vacancy, presenting a significant career progression opportunity for the successful candidate. The primary objective is to enhance the quality and effectiveness of care provided by the West of Scotland Renal Transplant Service, in accordance with UK guidelines for live kidney donation and transplant recipient pathways.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team comprising of transplant surgeons, nephrologists, and live donor transplant coordinators. This position is ideal for an experienced clinician looking to make a substantial impact within psychological services for surgical and medical patients.

We invite inquiries from HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists who possess postgraduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its recognized equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in multiple models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, neuropsychology, and various psychological therapies, as well as lifespan development psychology. Please note, this position necessitates PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
