Job Summary:
Contigo Healthcare is proud to partner with a leading NHS Trust to offer an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Cardiology on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an experienced cardiologist looking to join a dynamic team in a modern facility committed to excellence in patient care and professional development. The department is moving toward 24/7 Cardiology on-call, providing an opportunity to be part of a growing and innovative cardiology service.

Salary:
Negotiable Salary, dependent on experience.

Relocation Package up to £20,000, dependent on criteria.

Essential Criteria:

1. GMC full registration & licence (MRCP)
2. On or within 6 months of GMC Specialist Register for Cardiology (or expected CESR approval)
3. Demonstrate independent clinical experience and skill in Cardiology at Consultant level
4. Ability to work 10 PAs
5. Participation in Cardiology weekend service (1:7)

Desirable Criteria:

1. Interest in General Cardiology, imaging, heart failure
2. Supervisory experience for SpRs/specialist trainees
3. Special interest in Echocardiography, stress echo, or other imaging modalities

Working Hours / On-Call:
Currently no interventional cardiology support. On-call structure forthcoming (24/7 Cardiology).

CV Requirements:
Must show experience & competencies for Cardiology at Consultant level.

Additional Notes:
Shortlisted candidates must attend a Technical Specification Panel (virtual possible) and an Advisory Appointment Committee (in person). Department cannot support interventional cardiology at this time.
