We are interest in speaking with Programme Management Consultants / Analysts with a view to join our Advisory services team within energy, ideally based in London, Birmingham, Glasgow or Edinburgh, (with travel expected) for future opportunities throughout 2026.

Previous consultants and analysts have gone onto :

  • Collaborating with companies across a region to co-create better communities for the people of the region
  • Support clients to define their strategy and business plan
  • Working with our Global teams to establish programmes
  • Supporting the development of a knowledge management strategy
  • Working with innovation teams to develop and implement new approach to solve critical issues
The Role

As a consultant or analyst you can be expected to get involved in :

  • Leading or Supporting (dependant on role) workstreams to develop their maturity to deliver complex capital projects and programme
  • Transforming Programme and Project Management Capability
  • Client engagement
  • Social Value and Carbon initiatives (PAS 2080)
  • IT systems and deployment
  • Communications and change management

You will work closely with our advisory services team on our key frameworks support clients to develop the capability to deliver large investment programme.

Our Advisory service line supports our clients delivering major capital projects and programmes of work. Providing services ranging from capability building across varied business functions, programme management and PMO services, engineering, sustainability consulting and technology systems.

As part of Stantec’s advisory discipline community, this role offers the opportunity to develop across our service lines and to find your path. We are committed to supporting your skills development and have a broad range of training and network opportunities to support this.

ABOUT YOU

We would be interested in hearing from you with experience in a consultancy setting but this is not essential, you will have a minimum of an Honours Degree. We are open to a wide range of degree disciplines, including but not limited to : Project Management, Business Management, Maths, Science, Technology or Engineering degrees.

  • You’re inquisitive, creative and always looking for innovative ways to drive efficiency across processes.
  • You can confidently manage stakeholder communications and articulate data analysis findings. You will have strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
  • You have data analysis and presentation skills, a sharp attention to detail and you’re keen to learn.
  • You are willing to work in fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • You’re interested in developing your career in the programme environment. We’ll support you with gaining membership to a relevant body (APM / Practitioner MSP / Prince2 / PPSO).
