This is an exciting opportunity, to work with our client, a leading provider of project management, design engineering & construction supervision services within the UK Energy, Defence, Rail and Utilities industries.

Job description

The ideal candidate will have a background in Consulting, planning, cost management, risk analysis, project management and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Consulting clients, on project opportunities, management of planning capabilities and teams.
  • Ability to update detailed project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Stakeholder management, and client facing skills
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, including the tracking of costs, change orders, and forecasts. Work with project teams to implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and issues impacting project performance.
Ideally
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling tools.
  • Working knowledge of earned value management (EVM) processes and techniques.
  • Familiarity with project governance and assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
