Overview

South East/ contract / £25 - £32 per hour depending on experience. This role is based in Reading with a mainstream college, working on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year.

The college provides high standards of education, has recently been awarded a Good OFSTED rating, and offers a thriving, modern and diverse environment that promotes student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Teach Construction to passionate and focused students, helping them pursue a career in the field.
• Deliver and implement schemes of learning to help students achieve excellent results.
• Support and contribute to a positive learning environment within the college.

Qualifications

• Level 5 qualification or higher in construction, architecture, or a related field; extensive industry experience will be considered.
• GCSE Maths and English at level 4 or above.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of current trends in construction.
• Experience teaching in further education is desirable.
