Job Description

The Property Development Solicitor should be able to:

  • Provide legal advice on a range of construction-related matters to clients in the professional services sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including JCT and NEC agreements.
  • Manage dispute resolution processes.
  • Support clients with risk management and compliance issues in construction projects.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the legal department to deliver client-focused solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Solicitor should have:

  • At least 4 years PQE.
  • Proven experience in construction law.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, particularly with JCT and NEC agreements.
  • Experience in managing dispute resolution processes effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
