Job summary

A leading apprenticeship provider in the UK is seeking a passionate Multi-Skills Learning Coach to support learners as they begin their careers in construction. Multi-Skills Learning Coach

Salary: 27,000 - £34,250

Location: Wythenshawe

Are you passionate about developing the next generation of construction professionals? We are one of the UK's leading apprenticeship providers, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Multi‑Skills Learning Coach to join our dedicated and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by supporting learners aged 16‑21 as they embark on their Foundation Apprenticeship and begin their careers in the construction industry.

About the Role

As a Multi‑Skills Learning Coach, you will play a key role in guiding and inspiring apprentices as they build their technical skills, confidence, and professional behaviours. You will:

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching to small groups (approx. 10 learners) on basic Brickwork, Plastering, and Carpentry & Joinery skills (e.g., mixing cement, cutting techniques, tool handling, and safe working practices).
  • Manage a caseload of Level 2 learners on Foundation Apprenticeship programmes.
  • Mark assignments and assess apprenticeship tasks to ensure quality, progression, and compliance.
  • Observe learner practice and provide constructive feedback that supports development.
  • Visit employers to support apprentices in the workplace and help them settle into their first job roles.
What We're Looking For
Essential
  • Experience in construction or a related trade.
  • Strong, up‑to‑date industry knowledge.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of Brickwork, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery construction techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance.
  • Knowledge of on‑site trade materials, tools, and components.
  • Previous teaching experience in multi‑skills or construction.
  • A relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and coaching ability.
  • A genuine passion for developing learners and helping them succeed.
Desirable
  • Coaching or Assessor qualifications (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33).
  • Experience with government‑funded training or apprenticeship standards.
